Third Party Ad-Hoc

To access this page: On the Fund Transfer menu, click Third Party Account

The Fund Transfer – Third Party Account page is used to transfer funds from your account to a beneficiary account, which is not registered with the application. This screen is used for ad-hoc transfers; however you also have the option of registering the beneficiary once you have entered the required details.

Once you submit the details on this page, the Fund Transfer Confirmation page opens requesting you to confirm the transaction for processing.

Field/Button

Description

Source Account Number

The account from which the transfer is being made.

Transfer Amount

The amount to be transferred, in the selected currency.

Fund Transfer Remarks

A brief description of the transfer.

Payment Type:

Immediate

The funds are transferred immediately.

Future Date

The funds are transferred on a specified date. When you select this option, the following field appears.

Effective Date - The date on which the transfer should take place.

Fund Transfer Type

Specify whether the third party account is a Seylan Bank Account or another bank account

Beneficiary Bank Name

The name of the beneficiary’s bank.

Beneficiary Branch Name

The bank branch of the beneficiary’s account.

Beneficiary Account Number

The beneficiary account number to which the transfer is being made.

Beneficiary Name

The name of the registered beneficiary.

Save as Beneficiary

If this check box is selected, the beneficiary’s details will be saved as a registered beneficiary. Thereafter, the beneficiary details can be accessed from the Fund Transfer -Third Party Registered screen.

Send Beneficiary SMS

If this check box is selected, the system sends an SMS notification to the beneficiary. When you select this check box, the Beneficiary Mobile No. field appears. Enter the number as applicable.

Fund Transfer Confirmation

OTP Password

The one-time password generated by the security token given by the bank.
